The primary goal of a relaxation massage is to relax the entire body. This is achieved by rubbing muscles with long gliding strokes. The therapist uses their hands, forearms, or elbows to manipulate the superficial layers of the muscles to improve physical and mental health. The Swedish massage will also improve blood circulation to help you feel more energetic by increasing the flow of nutrient-rich oxygen to your muscles.

Treatment massages target deeper tissue structures of the muscles and facia, as well as tendons. Treatment massages use similar movements and techniques as Swedish Massages, but the pressure is generally more intense which releases chronic muscle tension. Therapists will use a warm, natural pain reliving gel to assist in joint and muscle pain relief.
