POOL & AQUA FITNESS

Lake Park Swim & Fitness offers a beautiful 25-yard, 4-lane lap pool. Our aquatics area is filled with natural sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling windows surrounding the pool.

Walk, swim, learn, and even personal train in the water! We offer a wide variety of aquatic programs including traditional aqua classes, aqua Zumba, lap swimming, stand up paddle board workout, group training lessons to improve on stroke and breathing proficiency, and private coaching.

Aqua Fit

A fun, energetic combination of cardio intervals with all over body toning and conditioning using water resistance and body weight, along with noodles and water weights. Great for all ages, levels and abilities!

Aqua Intense

This class will challenge you using many of the same movements and exercises of Aqua Fit but with longer intervals and a bit more intensity!

Aqua ZUMBA

If you love Zumba on land, you’ll love the added fun and benefits of doing Zumba in the water! All the same great music, fun moves and high energy with the added resistance of the water and no impact on your joints!
Lane Reservations. 4 people can make reservations per timeframe. If you have a reservation this means it’s your lane for that period of time. You can decide if you want to invite up to 3 others into your lane. Lane can be used for lap swimming or water walking.

Open Swim – There are 4 designated times throughout the week that a reservation is not needed. Open Swim is “first come, first serve” and sharing is mandatory. We encourage walkers share with other walkers and lap swimmers share with other lap swimmers. Open Swim is limited to one hour.
The water offers a unique advantage for all types of training. Water work is the key for pre/post rehabilitation, arthritic conditions, balance/stability, or anyone seeking a great cardio/strength workout without joint impact.

Cost: $38.00/half hour session and $60/one hour session
We offer private swim coaching for all members 14 years and older. Melissa Pavlica, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, former competitive swimmer and L3 US Masters Swim Coach is available for:

· Learn to swim
· Improve stroke/ breathing efficiency
· Triathlete training

Cost: $38.00/half hour session and $60/one hour session
Join NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Masters Swim Coach, Melissa Pavlica, for a total body small group training session in the POOL! Expect intense intervals that will include:

· Lap swimming
· Water running
· Intervals using special water resistance strength equipment

Generally, the small group is limited to 8-12 participants for 45 minute weekly session for 4 weeks. Cost is $60 for 4 weeks.
This small group training of 5 participants uses a platform/paddleboard specifically designed for Aqua Based Stability Training (ABST). Everything done in life takes balance, from sitting in a chair to walking in the park to complex movements like mountain biking or skiing. We often take these things for granted, yet functional balance is fundamental to our wellbeing, strength, cardiovascular fitness and flexibility. Aquatic Based Stability/Balance Training (ABST) is a new way to train your body to not only improve your athletic ability, but also improve all aspects of your physical wellness. GlideFIT is the leader of this new fitness movement and our Group Training is designed to maximize the benefits of ABST in fun and challenging classes that are geared to everyone from those starting from a sedentary lifestyle to elite athletes. Be prepared to get wet and have fun!
Looking for a way to stay motivated in your swim workout? Join our 100-mile/500-mile Swim Club! Simply keep track of your laps (either swimming or walking) and record your laps/mileage in the swim book (located in the pool area). This is an “on your honor” system of accountability. When you reach 100 miles and then 500 miles you will receive a complimentary 100-mile club t-shirt!
